| Sunshine Sewing In-Store Clubs |
"SUNSHINE STRIPPERS" IN-STORE CLUB
This club is for all of you Jelly Roll fanatics who have fallen in love with the idea of not having to cut rows
and rows of strips. WE DO IT ALL FOR YOU!
Date: Monthly Meetings - 2nd Wed. of the month – both am and pm.
First meeting: Wed., Oct. 10th, 10am- 12noon or 7pm - 9pm.
Cost: $10 per month or $100 prepaid for the year.
(If you notify us that you cannot make it to the club one month, we will adjust your membership.)
Rules:
• Purchase at least 1 Sunshine Sewing Jelly Roll of your choice for the club (i.e. Oriental, Floral, Kaffe
Fassett, etc.) and receive FREE pattern for in-store club. This FREE pattern is available ONLY to club
members during club hours.
• Each month you will receive instructions (pattern), and help to make different projects – quilts, home
dec, etc.
• Space is limited. Registration and payment are required at least 24 hours before club begins.
"SUNSHINE ROUND ROBIN" IN-STORE CLUB
Come join the "musical chairs club" of quilting. Sew a quilt with up to 4 quilters, each adding their
creative ingenuity to one another's quilts.
Date: Monthly Meetings – 3rd Fri. of the month – both am and pm.
First meeting: Fri., Oct. 19th, 10am- 12noon or 7pm - 9pm.
Cost: You must purchase fabric at Sunshine Sewing to participate.
Class is Free.
Rules:
• Up to 4 people to make one quilt
• Quilts will be of different themes – your choice (i.e. Oriental, Floral, Kaffe Fassett, etc.). Fabric must be
purchased at Sunshine Sewing.
• Quilt center is to be made by owner, size to measure no smaller than 12”x12” and no larger than 15”
x15”. Each subsequent border (up to 3 more) will be made by other club members in the 4 person
group. Quilt top will then revert to the person who made the center block. Each person will be able to
make row 2, 3, or 4 of the different quilts.
• Each border will measure no more than 4-5 inches wide.
• Sewn quilt top size will end to measure between 36”x36” up to 40”x40”.
• All work is to be done during club hours at Sunshine Sewing. No quilts are to be worked on at home.
(For those of you who suffer from pet, smoke, or perfume allergies…)
• Owner of quilt top may then take home their quilt to embellish (if so desired), quilt, and finish. There
will be a gallery showing at Sunshine Sewing in the future called “The Sunshine Sewing Round Robin
Exhibit.”
• Space is limited. Registration and payment are required at least 24 hours before club begins.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Store will open 1 hour before club time for evening club so that you may come in
and purchase your fabric and be ready to sew when club begins.
"SUNSHINE PAPER-PIECING" IN-STORE CLUB
Come learn paper-piecing the easy way at Sunshine Sewing.
Date: Monthly Meetings – 4th Wed. of the month – both am and pm.
First meeting: Wed., Oct. 24th, 10am- 12noon or 7pm - 9pm.
Cost: $15 per class.
Includes fabric for one square and two paper-piecing square patterns (one to use and one to take
notes).
Rules:
• Each month you will have a choice of one of two designs (6”x 6” or 8”x 8”). Either square will come
with fabric. This is a great way to learn paper-piecing. Extra squares of the same design will be
available for purchase.
